Janice is pretty incredible, so knowledgeable and kind to the pups and their parents. Teaching a dog isn’t easy but Janice and Bill are such a great combo, always kind hearted and patient. I have completed Puppy I and Puppy II with my Dogue de Bordeaux, Duncan. We’re enrolled in Family Dog II, and I’m planning on working towards Duncan passing his Canine Good Citizen to eventually become a therapy dog. I have learned so much and really enjoy coming to class, as does Duncan! I think the puppy socials are probably his favorite though! Highly recommend, Janice is great!

Janice and the other trainers were really helpful in retraining me and my rescue dog how to work together. They had new ideas for us to try and were really responsive to any questions I had outside of the class session. We will certainly be taking more classes with ThePerfectPup

My pup and I enjoyed the Family Dog 1 class. Janice helps you learn to help your dog want to make good choicess, and learn to have confidence in you, and you in your dog. All training is gentle and fun for both owner and dog.

We are very pleased with the classes we are attending at The Perfect Pup. Our puppy has learnt so much from Janice and Bill. Their knowledge and skill in teaching the basics of obedience is impressive. The facility is also very welcoming with lots of stimulating activities especially for a puppy. A little over a year ago, I brought my newly adopted rescue to the Perfect Pup to begin her training. It is now a year later and we’ve BOTH learned so much! Cyder and I completed Family Dog 1 & 2 with Janice, as well as Perfect in Public and Fun with Obstacles with Bill. Family Dog provided a great foundation, then Perfect in Public polished our walking skills while navigating a variety of distractions in “real world” locations. Fun with Obstacles allowed us to put our Family Dog skills to practical use in a fun engaging way while also increasing Cyder’s confidence (and mine as well!). We enjoy Fun with Obstacles so much we just started our 4th session! The class never gets “old” or “repetitive” because Bill continually assesses and accommodates to meet the needs of each dog whether it’s their 1st or 4th time taking the class.

We started Puppy Play & Train Camp with our labrador, Daisy, at 10 weeks old. Janice, Cheryl and Kevin are absolutely fantastic. They use positive reinforcement to teach the dog and also teach us how to reinforce the behaviors at home. They also treat Daisy as their own; they are so loving and care so much about the success of our girl! We have three young kids at home and we knew we would need some help getting started on training. Janice’s team has helped us immeasurably! Daisy’s progress has been astounding. She is a great family dog and we are having so much fun with training at home with the homework that the trainers give us after each class. We are so happy we made the investment before we had any real behavioral issues.
