The Perfect Pup Policies
Other Policies
*Registration
Friendly dogs are welcome. If your dog has shown any signs of aggressive behavior with people or other dogs we ask that you reach out to us for private lessons, as a class may not be the right environment for your dog.
Our class sizes are limited and do fill up quickly! Registration must take place prior to the start of the class, and can be done online. All prices are per dog. Any family member is welcome to join you in the class. Please see our policy regarding children in attendance below.
Payment
Payment is required at time of enrollment and can be made using credit card, check, or cash. There is a $35 fee for all returned checks.
Refunds
Refunds or class transfers can be accommodated if we receive a notification at least 3 days before the start of class. Once the class has begun there are no refunds.
Notifications of cancellation or to ask for a class transfer should be sent to Janice @ThePerfectPupLLC.com. All refunds processed are subject to a $25 administrative fee.
Makeup/Attendance/Missed Classes
If you miss a session, please contact your Instructor to get your missed homework.
Referrals
We reserve the right to determine if a class is suitable for your dog. If we evaluate a dog and determine that they are not ready for a class room environment, either before or after their initial attendance in a class, we will provide the owner with a referral to one of our trainers that can provide a private consultation.
Class Series Cancellations
If the minimum enrollment for a class is not met before the class start date, the class will be cancelled. We will notify you via email and/or text at least 1 day prior to the class starting so that you may transfer to a different class, receive a credit toward a future class, or receive a full refund.
Unaltered Dogs
We welcome all friendly dogs, whether they are altered or not. Female dogs in season are asked not to attend classes.
Children Attending Classes
We encourage that your family join in on the training!

Accidents and Injuries: Accidents and injuries happen when animals play and interact with each other. Not all dogs like each other and we do our best to pair dogs with the same temperament together. We separate puppies and older dogs and try to avoid injury. We take precautions to minimize dog fights by having multiple staff members/trainers on the floor with each play group. We do not put all dogs together on the floor but have separate play groups based on size and age to help minimize risk. By enrolling your dog in our programs you are acknowledging and accepting the risk of injury to your dog.
Illness – dogs that seem ill will not be admitted to daycare or play and train. There is always the possibility that your dog might pick up a virus etc. while playing with other dogs. Our staff will notify you if we have noticed anything in daycare or play and train so that you may take precautionary measures.
By signing the waiver and release form you are indicating that you understand the inherent risks of enrolling your dog in our program and accept responsibility and hold The Perfect Pup, LLC harmless should your dog get a virus, illness, or suffer any other type of physical
